Kundalini yoga is a physical/mental/spiritual discipline for developing and tapping into ones inner energy and awareness. Kundalini yoga is considered the yoga of awareness because it directly affects human consciousness, develops intuition, increases self knowledge, and unleashes the unlimited creative potential that exists within every human being. Like all other yoga forms, it also develops the nervous system, glands and mental balance through physical exercise and meditation, however, at a much more accelerated rate than other yoga forms that do not specifically target the regions associated with releasing kundalini energy.
